Summary
After two years of running the inter-school Quran competitions1, once again a group of passionate individuals from Imam Husain Islamic School and some other Islamic schools in Sydney are organising the third Inter-school Quran Competition for students, teachers and parents in 2019. The ultimate goal is to improve familiarity with our holy book and please the Imam of our time, may Allah (s.w.t.) hasten his reappearance.
Competition Objectives
The main objectives of the competition are:
- to raise the overall standards of recitation amongst the Islamic schools in Sydney,
- to encourage Islamic communities to work harder on memorising the Holy Quran,
- to increase the acquaintance with the Holy Quran, and
- to enhance collaboration and unity between Islamic schools in Sydney.
